Titled simply Divinity, the game was debuted with a daring trailer featuring striking imagery, from a figure engulfed in flames to scenes of revelry and the literal opening of infernal gates.
Not the Expected Sequel
For those hoping for Divinity Original Sin 3, this is not that. Larian clarified that a third Original Sin game to its venerated RPGs is not currently in development.
However, the developer referred to this new Divinity as a continuation of the main series. This choice of words hints that the team might be designing a more action-oriented experience as opposed to another tactical title. At this moment, it remains theory, as only a cinematic trailer is available.
